Who is Peaceful Promise?

Peaceful Promise was founded in 2021 by board certified neurologist Dr. Laura Desadier in response to the increasing gap between doctor and patient present in standard medicine, with a goal focused on individual wellness, minimizing pharmacologic interventions, and restoring brain function with other non-surgical and non-invasive treatments while maximizing the return of the basic doctor-patient relationship.

Peaceful Promise treats a wide range of neurological and psychiatric disorders, including headaches, migraines, chronic pain and other pain disorders, concussion, traumatic brain injury/TBI, seizures, pseudoseizures/non-epileptic and other movement disorders, Parkinson's, stroke, multiple sclerosis, mood disorders, depression, dementia, brain fog, and other cognitive disorders and mood disorders.

What is TMS?

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the brain's nerve cells through a coil that is placed against the scalp which delivers pulses to the brain which over time helps to improve how efficiently neurons communicate, thereby improving many neurological and psychiatric conditions, and chronic pain, circumventing the need for additional pills and medications.

Where is TMS done?

Treatment is done at the doctor's office, and requires no sedation or surgery.

The standard course of treatment involves six weeks of daily sessions five days per week, each each treatment may last 20-40 minutes.

What is the cost of TMS?

The cost of treatment ranges from $8,000 to $16,000. Some insurance programs reimburse 40-90%.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is typically covered by most private and public health insurance plans, including Medicare and some Medicaid programs. However, coverage varies by insurance plan and individual circumstances. We will work with your insurance for reimbursement.
